Sioux City, IA (ABC9 News) -- If your basement is full of boxes of childhood toys you couldn't bear to part with, someone who would like to have a look is in town. The crew from "Old Toy Pickers" have set up shop down at Stoney Creek Inn and want to see your old toys from the 1950's through the 80's.

The folks there will appraise your items and tell you the retail price. They'll also pay 65 percent of that price in cash if you're looking to sell.

Jerry Magee, owner of Old Toy Pickers, says he still gets excited every time a box of toys comes in to be appraised.  "I can't wait , every single time,” he exclaimed. “This never gets old to me, I've been doing for years and it just seems like there's always something that surprises me. It's getting harder there's no doubt about it but to find the good old stuff, it's still as exciting for me today as it was 15 years ago when I started doing this.

Items bought will end up in the hands of collectors, or to the company's store down in Florida.

Jerry and his crew will be in Sioux City until Sunday.
