Nebraska's Vietnam Veterans will get to fly in an Honor Flight to recognize their sacrifice and service to the nation this June.

135 Vietnam Combat Vets will get to take part in this year's Honor Flight set to take to the skies June 6.

The flight will take the combat veterans to Washington D.C. for an opportunity to stop at several memorials including the Vietnam Wall to see the name of friends and fallen brothers in arms.

So far, 2,100 WWII and Korean War Veterans have made the voyage to our nation's capitol since 2008.
