Sunday was the Pistol Test-Drive over at the Rev-Tac Firearm Instruction, where you could come and learn about gun safety and the benefits of owning your own gun.
Attendees got to tryout 25 different kinds of pistols, most of which were common conceal and carry guns. Instructor also had some basic guns to help demonstrate gun safety.
Once participants got down the basics, instructors started showing attendees different pistols that would personally work best for each individual.
If you were looking for a good cheap starting gun, instructors suggested some of these.
"Glock 43, the SR-9C, the Taurus Millennium G2 if you're looking for a great budget gun. Those are under three hundred bucks and very affordable and their a nice shooting gun for the money definitely. Just what ever your level of training is we would love for you to come out and...just kind of brush up on your skills. You know we see a lot of people who... don't know what they don't know and so it's important that you come out and that you just confirm your skills. Especially if you're going to be carrying for personal defense, that's really important to us that you actually know your ability with that firearm," says Tim Grover.
Rev-Tac Firearm Instruction offers more than just basic pistol classes. They also have ten other classes to choose from.
