Authorities in South Dakota are asking for the public's help in locating a Sioux City man they say struck a police officer with his pickup and fleeing the scene. . 

A felony warrant was issued for 35-year-old Travis McPeek earlier this month after authorities say he struck Tyndall Police Officer Kelly Young back on August 6th in a convenience store parking lot in Bon Homme County. 

McPeek is currently wanted for aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer. 

He is described being 5'6'', 144lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. McPeek also has numerous tattoos.
