Siouxland delegation honors Dallas officer at Thursday memorial

Five members of Siouxland law enforcement traveled to Dallas for the memorial

Another public memorial in Dallas Thursday for one of the five officers gunned down last week. This time, a 25 year veteran of the Dallas Police Department.
 
Hundreds gathered at the service for 55-year-old Police Sergeant Michael Smith.
 
A Siouxland delegation was there, as well, traveling hundreds of miles to support brothers they'll never meet.
 
 
Siouxland is represent by two Sioux City officers as well as a pair of Woodbury County Deputies and one representing Plymouth County.
 
Officer Brad Echter is documenting the trip for ABC9. He and the other officers joins hundreds from across the country - some from as far away as Boston and New York - who came to pay their respects and support their fellow men and women in blue.
