Charges have been filed in connection to an incident at South Sioux City High School on Thursday morning.

In a video released on Friday, South Sioux City Police Chief Ed Mahon said that charges have been filed and that more charges could follow as the investigation moves forward.

South Sioux City Schools were locked down for over two hours after authorities say an administrator was informed that two students had possibly made a threat involving a gun.

Those students were later taken into custody and the lockdown was lifted.
