The Briar Cliff men's volleyball team is set to play their first-ever home match on Tuesday night.

The Chargers welcome Dordt to the Newman-Flanagan Center as they shoot for their second GPAC win of the season.

Although it's Briar Cliff's inaugural season, the guys are content with their progress as a program.

"We have been playing pretty well lately and we scrimmaged Dordt last fall and it went pretty well," said freshman setter Jake Ewart. "It was good for us, so I expect a lot of people to be here."

"Well I hope for a good crowd," said head coach Trevor Schirman. "I hope that a lot of the locals that have been talking about the start of this program show up. I hope the student body shows up in force.  We expect it to be a great match," said Schirman.

First serve for Tuesday's match is set for 7:00.
