Coaching legend and Wayne, Nebraska native Don Meyer passed away Sunday in Aberdeen, South Dakota.  Meyer who ranks second all-time in college men's basketball wins with 923 was 69 years old.  He was a coach that was admired by the likes of Pat Summit, Bob Knight, and John Wooden.  Heelan assistant basketball coach, Andy Foster, played for Meyer at Northern State.  Foster says "Every big moment involves coach Meyer.  The birth of my children, and the state championships at Heelan.  Coach Meyer always picked up the phone when I needed advice, or just to let him know what was new in my life.  He was the best".
