SIOUX CITY, Iowa (ABC9 Sports)--Lawton-Bronson and Woodbury Central split a pair of games on Monday night, as did Remsen St. Mary's and Akron-Westfield.

Lawton-Bronson upset No. 2 Woodbury Central 1-0 in eight innings in softball. But in baseball the Wildcats outlasted the Eagles 6-5 in 12 innings.

In a top-ten matchup, top-ranked Akron-Westfield stayed undefeated with an 11-1 win over No. 9 Remsen St. Mary's 11-1 in six innings in softball. In baseball, the fifth-ranked Hawks returned the favor behind a one-hitter from Matt Wesselman in a 2-0 win.
