South Sioux, Lawton-Bronson win interstate showdowns

The Lady Cardinals took down SB-L and the Eagles edged Elk Point-Jefferson

South Sioux City and Lawton-Bronson each won interstate showdowns on the hardwood Thursday night.

The second-ranked Lady Cardinals took down No. 11 Sergeant Bluff-Luton 71-59. South Sioux City (19-1) hosts Omaha Gross on Friday.

No. 13 Lawton-Bronson protected their home court, beating Elk Point-Jefferson 49-46. The Eagles (17-4) begin regional play on February 16.
