Cyclones Offense Finds Rhythm

The ISU offense racked up the yards and the points in their spring game on Saturday
AMES, Iowa (ABC9 Sports)--The Iowa State offense put up 538 yards and 33 points in their spring game on Saturday, led by quarterback Grant Rohach.

Rohach, who saw significant action last fall, completed 22 of 38 passes for 171 yards, leading the Cyclones on three scoring drives.

Sam Richardson, who has also started for the Cyclones, went 8 of 13 for 55 yards and a touchdown.

Defensively, the Cyclones were led by Cory Morrissey and Mitchell Meyers, each of whom had 3.5 sacks on the day. 

Iowa State opens up the 2014 campaign with the three-time defending FCS national champions North Dakota State on August 30.
