Dordt College STEM Students Kick Off School Year With New Building

The new science & technology building at Dordt is building a brighter future for students.
Sioux Center, IA (ABC9 News) - It's been under construction for about a year, but the new 12-million dollar science and technology facility is almost complete. The building features the latest tools, technology, and labs. Enrollment in the Dordt engineering program has doubled over the last year, and with the new building, faculty members expect more students to pursue a degree in science and technology.

"Sometimes students leave their education still very analytical. Everything is about taking tests and learning information. we want to translate that in to doing, even here on campus,” said Ethan Brue, Professor of Engineering. The building is expected to be completely done in October.
