SIOUX CITY, Iowa--Seventh-ranked Morningside downed No. 6 Concordia, 87-77 Saturday afternoon.

In Orange City, No. 9 Northwestern throttled fourth-ranked Hastings, 83-67.

This created a four-way tie amongst the teams at the top of the Great Plains Athletic Conference standings as the season concluded.

Due to league tiebreakers, the Red Raiders will be the top seed in the upcoming conference tournament and they earn the automatic berth to the NAIA National Championships next month. Hastings will be the second seed, Morningside the third, and Concordia will be number four.

Briar Cliff went to overtime with Doane to determine the seventh-seed, and the Tigers took the win, 91-89.

In men's action, No. 18 Morningside jumped back into the polls and earned an 87-64 win over Concordia Saturday afternoon.
