It’s been a big year for the South Sioux City Cardinals.  The Cards not only have a new head coach on the sidelines, but also a new class of competition.


Greg Hansen has the task of leading South Sioux into Class A – the biggest class in Nebraska.  With teams like Creighton Prep and Omaha North on the schedule, there are no gimmes for the Cards, including tonight.


Cardinals and Norfolk in action tonight.  This game was shot for us by Cole Hein and our SportsZone partners at Northeast Community College. 


3rd Quarter….Norfolk leading 33 to Nothing….Norfolk Quarterback Gunner Fuelberth hands it off to Ethan Mittelstaedt for a 10 yard score….41 - 0 Norfolk.


3rd Quarter…South Sioux City's Quarterback Jake Schmiedt hands it off to Michael Hansen for a 5-yard touchdown, giving the Cardinals their first points of the game.  41-7 Norfolk.


3rd Quarter….Fuelberth hands it off to Mittelstaedt who takes it 70 yards to the house for a Panther score…..48 - 7 Norfolk.


4th Quarter… Norfolk's Tayen Meyer hands the ball to Hunter Godfrey who runs it for 23 yards into South Sioux Territory….48-7 Norfolk.


4th Quarter…Norfolk's Tayen Meyer with a quarterback sneak and 15-yard gain to get the Panthers into scoring position….48-7 Norfolk.
