(ABC9 News) Average ACT scores for the tri-state area continue to be above the national average.
Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota all had scores above the national average this year.
Iowa students had an average score of 22 on a 36 point scale.
South Dakota and Nebraska were right behind them with scores of 21.9 and 21.7 respectively.
The national average this year is about a point less, which is up slightly from the year before.
