Showers and thunderstorms largely deteriorated as they entered Siouxland this morning. With a boundary cutting through the area, we can't rule out some more scattered activity to pop up in the area again this afternoon & evening. We'll have a high today of 86°.
Tonight we'll carry a chance of thunderstorms continuing under cloudy conditions with a low of 66°.
We should be able to avoid the rain tomorrow with a high of 82° under partly cloudy skies, but we will bring back some small rain chances for Friday and Saturday as a warm front cuts through.
Another heat wave is anticipated next week with temperatures jumping into the 90s on Monday and Tuesday.
