After Sioux City hit 90 degrees Wednesday, northerly winds will hold highs to the upper 70s Thursday and Friday.

Rain chances look slim to none Thursday, but Friday may bring a few scattered showers or thunderstorms. But most of us will stay dry and those that do see rain will only receive light amounts.

With a switch to a southerly wind Saturday, we'll warm back into the 80s for the weekend, which looks dry.

Next week's big news is the return of hot weather to Siouxland. Highs will be in the 90s Monday through Wednesday.
