Record High Territory

February 20, 2017 - Following some morning showers, we'll have clearing skies and remarkably warm temperatures on this Monday. Look for a high of 66° with afternoon sunshine. That would be warm enough to break the record of 65° from 1981.

Tonight the low will be 36° on a clear and cool night.

Tomorrow the high will be 70° which would break the previous record high of 64° from 1943. It'll be sunny and gorgeous!

Wednesday we'll also have a chance at breaking a record high (68° from 1982) as it'll be sunny and very similar. We're projecting a high of 69°.

The dome of high pressure will break down Thursday as cooler air builds in with a disturbance. Rain is likely on Thursday afternoon. The high will be 47°.

It'll become windy and cold on Friday with a high of 36°. A rain/snow mix is likely and there could be significant accumulations. As the precipitation is coming down, wind gusts of about 40 MPH may create hazardous travel conditions, so Friday will be a day to keep an eye on this week.

The weekend will be more seasonable with highs in the mid/upper 30s and a mix of sun & clouds. There's a small rain/snow mix chance on Sunday.
