Clear skies will be seen around Siouxland Tuesday evening, but our next weather disturbance is set to cross the Midwest in the upper levels of the atmosphere Wednesday.
Showers and thunderstorms are possible before sunrise west of Interstate 29, then will be scattered throughout the area again in the afternoon and evening.
One or two storms could become severe, but most of these storms will not produce large hail or damaging winds. They could provide much-needed rainfall of up to an inch, however.
Wednesday's high will be 83 after a morning low of 65.
We'll see a break from the storm chances Thursday before more scattered showers and storms move back in Friday and Saturday.
Our highs will remain in the 80s straight through the weekend, but 90s are back early next workweek.
