Some pockets of heavy rain moved through earlier. Redevelopment is possible as the actual cold front approaches.
Tonight, showers and storms are possible until midnight. After that, chances diminish quickly as a NW wind shift brings in cooler, drier air. Lows will be cooler tonight than previous nights this week, in the mid to upper 70's.
Tomorrow, crisp and cool! A very fall-like air masses pushes into Siouxland and it packs a punch! Highs will struggle for 70 degrees, most staying in the 60's throughout the day while a NW wind gusts to 30mph. Some clouds from the previous night's front will linger... partly cloudy skies throughout the afternoon.
Tomorrow night, clear skies and drier air will have temperatures plummet into the mid 40's, lows we haven't seen too much of lately!
The rest of the week will have a similar ring to it. With NW flow in place until the end of next week, cooler, drier air will stay in place... meaning lots of sunshine and cooler low to mid 70's for us!
By the end of the week we start to kick in some southerly flow, increasing some of the cloudy cover and temperatures.... highs get to the upper 70's by Wednesday.
